Moderate Crimson in colour with tinges of purple, this Merlot shows aromas of dark berries, plum, spice, Christmas cake, chocolate and leather. Hints of French and American oak add to the complexity of the rich bouquet. A soft and well balanced palate with fruit driven flavours of dark berry fruits, rich plum, blackcurrant and cherry. Subtle hints of chocolate, mocha, spice and oak combined with fine extended tannins lead to a lingering finish.
