The 2015 Tintara Cabernet Sauvignon displays complex and vibrant aromas of cassis, violets, mulberry and tobacco leaf with hints of black olive and mint. An elegant and balanced wine showing rich dark fruits, chocolate, black olive with hints of bay leaf and subtle vanilla spice. The long and complex palate finishes with hints of quality French oak and super fine tannins.
This McLaren Vale Cab is great paired with lamb shanks, steak, juicy grilled mushrooms or roasted brussel sprouts. It's a great accompaniment to a cheese plate especially with hard cheeses.
The fruit for the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon was sourced from premium 14-39 year old vineyards in McLaren Vale. Vines are grown in various soil types, but mostly in free draining red sandy loams over limestone or clay.
