This Shiraz displays rich vibrant dark fruits of blackberry, plum and black cherries balanced by the generous rich texture of charred oak barrels and velvety tannins.
Tasting Notes
Aged in charred oak barrels, to impart distinct characteristics and a deep complexity to the wines. The degree of barrel charring ranges from No.1 to No.4. The highly charred No.3 barrel enhances the roasted coffee and chocolate characters, revealing a subtle toasty flavour and smooth finish. Layered use of French oak adding to the roundness, smoothness and complexity of the wine.
